SVP, Global Planning / Supply Chain

Our client is a Global Fortune 500 Consumer Products Company.

The Senior Vice President of Planning will be responsible for identifying and leading projects designed to significantly improve Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP) process by driving improvement in forecast accuracy and inventory planning across their global business. The projects are transformational in nature, so will require strategic thinking, effective problem structuring, and an ability to influence diverse cross-functional partners. The position reports to the Executive Vice President of Operations and oversees a team of 250⁺ Global Executives.

The successful candidate will collaborate with functional and field leadership to determine adequate forecast accuracy and inventory planning (both Supply and Demand).

The SVP Global Supply Chain Planning is relied upon to maintain a holistic understanding of the demand and supply dynamics affecting the company’s product portfolio. This strategic role combines aspects of product strategy, procurement, supply chain planning and logistics for this Consumer Products organization with special focus on New Product Introductions.

·       Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA is strongly preferred.

·       Premier Strategy or Operations Consulting experience desirable.
