Machine Learning Engineer – Entry Level (CE2-578)

DCS Corporation is looking for a highly motivated individual to apply machine learning approaches to human performance monitoring via human physiological state assessment. U.S. citizenship required.

This position supports customers at the Human Research and Engineering Directorate of the Army Research Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, MD, as part of a team of scientists and engineers performing militarily-relevant research in the application of physiological measurement and human assessment. The work environment is dynamic and highly collaborative, with opportunities to contribute to research publications and conference presentations.

Essential Job Functions:

Work within a small team of interdisciplinary scientists and engineers to research, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms for human-agent teaming and human performance monitoring

Perform data analysis using both traditional and ML-based methods.

Implement solutions using multiple software packages.

Integrate solutions into experimental hardware for research purposes. 


Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or other related field

Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence methods and applications. 

Software development skills including C, C#, and Python. 

The applicant must be highly motivated and interested in working in both basic and applied research fields. 

Knowledge of human physiology is considered a plus. 

Mentorship and training via senior staff is available.
