Hotel Billing Coordinator

Our company is rapidly growing and we are looking for a motivated, bright, enthusiastic and hard-working Hotel Billing Coordinator with excellent communication skills. Must have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment.

This is a full time opportunity at our office in East Dundee, IL.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Gather, review and reconcile hotel invoices to ensure appropriate charges for a customer hotel stay were billed.
  • Address billing discrepancies found and follow up on any needed corrections.
  • Prepare and send invoices to assigned customers.
  • Daily written and verbal communication with co-workers and customers.
  • Update internal files, databases & spreadsheets.
  • Provide an exceptional customer service to policyholders, adjusters and vendors.
  • Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to provide solutions to appropriately address billing discrepancies and customer needs.
  • Provide an immediate response and support for a high volume of incoming calls.
  • Assist with hotel placement for displaced families.
  • Take and relay detailed messages when required.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Hospitality, preferred.
  • Entry level experience in an accounting, customer service or hospitality environment.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems and process, a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks experience) is a plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including sorting, filtering, and pivot tables).
  • Professional, compassionate and friendly demeanor.
  • Flexible work schedule. Some evenings and weekends may be required
