Camp Store Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented self-starter with a keen interest in
pop-up store merchandising. Must be extremely organized, dependable and interested in set up and organization of a mobile camp store. A great opportunity to create a career portfolio and gain an unparalleled level of experience in merchandising and pop-up store production in the sports industry.
 
This position requires travel and staying at each camp location (4 total in Iowa, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Oregon), travel is provided by JRIC. The JRIC Camp Store Manager will work approximately 8 hours/per day with a work schedule of 3 days on, 1 day off.

Essential Functions:
·     Responsible for creating eye-catching camp store merchandise displays
·     Manage inventory control, tracking and securing merchandise
·     Responsible for maintaining exceptional appearance of camp store while ensuring best practices in place for inventory control
·     Supervision of camp staff who assist in store
·     Serve as an onsite office/communications center for camp operations
·     Review and recommend top selling items to Business Manager and Managing Director
·     Observe and track trends of camper preferences and purchases and recommend new products to Business Manager
·     Estimates, requests, and inspects supplies and inventory
  • Ensures accuracy of all deliveries
  • Performs opening and closing procedures for camp store
 
 
Position Elements
·     Work 3 days on, 1 day off (7 day week)
·     Travel to each camp location
·     Flexible and able to adapt to different camp hours and shifting priorities
·     Experience and working knowledge of computers and relevant programs (Microsoft Office Suite)
·     Team player comfortable with enthusiastically interacting with young campers, parents and camp staff
·     2 days paid training prior to first camp

·     Must be willing to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50lbs
