Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a health care professional who is skilled in all aspects of the nursing process. The RN is responsible and accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to patients by incorporating current clinical knowledge with established nursing practice.  S/he is adaptable to the myriad of needs of the individual and family during health and illness and has the ability to prioritize.  The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates daily patient care and is responsible for the direction of staff members assigned to him/her.
