Research and Prospect Management Specialist

Cornell College invites applications for a full-time research and prospect management specialist. This position identifies, analyzes, and interprets prospective donor information in support of the college's overall fundraising objectives. This position records and presents significant information on individuals and foundations and acts as an integral team resource. Additional duties may include assisting with data management, reporting and data analytics, and/or communications and outreach.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; one to three years of progressive research experience in a non-profit environment preferred.

Preferred Skills:
Candidates must have strong computer skills, including proven familiarity with the internet, online search systems, and client management software systems (preferably Raiser's Edge). Working knowledge of data mining techniques and software is preferred (specifically WealthEngine or similar products). Must possess strong written and verbal skills. Must be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously, provide responsive and timely support, process information analytically, take initiative, and provide recommendations based upon research. Must be able to work on-task, maintain professional confidentiality, and work collaboratively as a positive team member in a diverse collegial setting.
