Business Development Associate Intern

Entrepreneurial artist in the Old Town neighborhood of Chicago seeks dynamic student interested in gallery management, or entrepreneurial practice in the arts. Assist artist with business development, including:

Research

Preparing for and attending studio meetings

Preparing for and attending meetings around town

Learning or help to manage CRM Database

Creative projects, TBD based on your interest, goals, and skills

I am a former director of galleries in San Francisco and Chicago. When my work was in a Hollywood Blockbuster, I left my job and took on my former boss as a client, consulting in the business of art. I would love to mentor a student or recent graduate in the business of art and get support for my business.

Flexible hours either weekly or mutually agreed upon dates over the summer. Starting in advance of or just after Memorial Day, through August. Chicago-area students are welcome to stay on or apply for a fall or winter internship
