2019 IAFCC Access to Quality Health - Vista Data Coordinator

The VISTA Data Coordinator will work closely with the president of the DuPage Health Coalition to conduct and analyze research about population and partners. The goal of the project is to develop new models of analysis and reporting. As project timelines and associated tasks support, the Data Coordinator will also support the organization with other research and data analysis projects which improve health access for low income high barrier patient populations in the community. Examples of projects include analysis of health care utilization, heat mapping of client level data, use of ARCGIS and other tools, and analysis of hospital, provider, and pharmacy data for individuals served by our health programs. All of these responsibilities will build capacity of the DuPage Health Coalition to improve services to the medically underserved population of DuPage County Illinois. DuPage County is a suburban county of 1 million residents located immediately west of Chicago, Illinois. The DuPage Health Coalition has provided health care to more than 50,000 community residents in its 17 years of operation, and partners with seven hospitals and thousands of volunteer health providers to coordinate comprehensive healthcare for its members. More information about the DuPage Health Coalition can also be found on its website www.accessdupage.org.
Member Duties : Conduct and analyze research about population & partners 1. Review local data to develop efficient & accurate reporting systems. a) Collect redacted data. b) Look for and report on themes and challenges 2. Research models employed in other communities to report best practices, tools, and strategies Provide project coordination support to ensure that the project is meeting its stated aims 1. Schedule meetings, develop agendas, and report back on prior activities. 2. Assist with developing budgets and plans as directed by the team & president. 3. Support logistics with annual education & health literacy. Support community level opioid abuse reduction and treatment provision. 1. Offer project coordination and research support to the HOPE Opioid Task Force and its various subcommittees, a cross sector team of health and human service professionals, criminal justice officials and treatment providers. 2.
