POSITION: A full-time, professional academic staff position is available in Blugold Central beginning June 3, 2019. The working title for this assignment is Program Manager with an official title in the Outreach Program Manager I title series. This is a renewable assignment. The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required.  Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure; ability to create and maintain a program budget; excellent customer service; ability to remain adaptable and flexible to different situations and changes, including learning new systems and processes; ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment; ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals; ability to problem-solve effectively. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A master’s degree. Expertise or educational background in a subject area related to our CE program areas (please contact Miranda Cross-Schindler at crossmk@uwec.edu for a more expanded position description and feel free to learn more about our program offerings at our website: http://www.uwec.edu/ce/). Experience in continuing higher education programming and/or grant writing/administration. Experience in the development and delivery of quality education programs. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness. Experience using Ungerboeck software.

THE UNIT: The mission of Continuing Education at UW-Eau Claire is to fulfill the “Wisconsin Idea” by serving our communities with UW-Eau Claire-quality educational resources. Accordingly, the Continuing Education (CE) unit is entrusted with establishing supportive and collaborative relationships among UW-Eau Claire faculty, staff, UW-Extended Campus, and a wide variety of external audiences.
