Marketing & Events Coordinator - Arlington, VA

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will support the development and execution of marketing programs and activities across our network of Motion Recruitment companies (Jobspring Partners and Workbridge Associates) and Tech in Motion. In this role, you’ll become experienced with campaign planning and execution, brand management, event marketing, email marketing, social media, PR, and more.

Must be located in or already in the process of moving to Arlington/DC Metro area.

What you’ll do:
Social & PR
·       Assist Marketing Manager in executing, and implementing social, blog, and PR strategies for new and ongoing programs and campaigns. Revenue-driving activities may include (but not limited to):
o  Social Media execution & management
o  Content & blog creation and management
o  PR outreach & execution
o  Media Partnership outreach & management
o  Social Media paid campaign management
o  Collateral management (press releases, media partnerships, etc.)
o  Market Research 
·       Understand Motion Recruitment’s services, audiences, and objectives to help identify new ways to drive loyalty/retention, and reach new customers/candidates
·       Assist in managing efforts to build online reviews and reputation; respond to reviews under direction of Marketing Manager.
·       Assist in evaluating opportunities for media partnerships and social advertising on an on-going basis to further promote brand and cross collaboration.
·       Assist with running weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to track and measure ROI for Social, PR and Partnership programs and campaigns

Field Marketing & Events

·       Brand Management: Build strong brand recognition and credibility in the local tech community with regional office’s clients and candidates. Ensure positive online brand reputation on sites such as Yelp & Google+.
·       Marketing Programs & Campaigns: Customize, execute and manage national outbound & inbound marketing activities to support revenue growth of regional sales office
·       Event Management: Manage the planning, promotion, and execution of highly attended national tech event series, Tech in Motion
·       Communication & Delivery: Engage, educate & train regional sales office to ensure success with local and national marketing initiatives
·       Market Knowledge & Research: Work with sales team members to stay up to date on local market conditions, happenings in the tech community, and consumer behavior
·       Office Management & Sales Support: Help maintain regional office’s operations to ensure sales team success

Requirements:
·       0-2 years' experience in marketing and events
·       Excellent written and communication skills
·       Knowledge in Word, Power Point and Excel 
·       Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field
