Internship - Food Recovery Network Summer

This position offers opportunities for skill development in project planning and implementation, collaboration, communication skills both written and externally, and will expand your communications portfolio. The internship will also increase your technical understanding of hunger, food waste, and logistics of food recovery.

The intern will work closely with FRN’s Evaluation Associate and Program Team in order to help accomplish FRN’s national strategic goals. The internship will also increase your technical understanding of hunger, food waste, and logistics of food recovery.

This person will work closely with the Program Manager and the Special Events and Development Fellow to plan FRN’s conference, the 2019 National Food Recovery Dialogue (NFRD). NFRD, hosted at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA on October 5-6, 2019, will convene hundreds of student leaders, community members and passionate professionals to share ideas and inspire sustained action.

The person will work closely with the Program and Outreach Fellow and the Program Manager to ensure strategic outreach goals are met, campaign materials are crafted, and internal analyses are complete. The position will require critical thinking, attention to detail, and a person willing to ask questions.
