Social Media Intern
With over 130 store and warehouse locations and more than 7,500 associates across the U.S. and Canada, Crate and Barrel is a dynamic and growing multi-channel furniture and housewares retailer. So we can continue to help others love how they live in moments that matter, the iconic brand is hiring interns for summer 2019 in our Northbrook, IL corporate office.
The Social Media intern will:
- Partner with marketing team members on projects, supporting with a variety of tasks to achieve department priorities during a 10-week program.
- Address business challenges through thoughtful research, analysis, and creative thinking through an individual project.
- Participate in training sessions with other interns and leaders across the Crate and Barrel corporate office, building a foundation of knowledge to launch your career.
Qualifications:
- Working towards obtaining degree aligned with marketing; Starting Senior year of college in Fall 2019 (preferred)
- Work experience and/or interest in the retail industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel skills a plus
- Proficient in Google Platforms
- Superb organizational skills and high level of detail orientation
- Great interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
- Good reading and written language skills (English)
