Writing or editorial background is helpful. If you are on the editorial team or a contributor to one of University of Iowa's publications, this is ideal because that way it’s fun, has synergy with activities you are already doing, and will not entail many extra hours. It is a way of sharing your creativity in a variety of publications and reaching a wider audience through The Creative Process traveling exhibition.

All Disciplines Welcome
All collaboration is appreciated and is completely adaptable to your core skills. We have collaborated with students from a variety of disciplines, including STEM, business, and communications. What is most essential is to be curious, have initiative and a desire to learn. Your knowledge of the local artistic and educational community helps us celebrate University of Iowa & IA's creative talent.

A number of our participating students have discovered through The Creative Process that they excel in areas outside of their field of study and have gone on to jobs in those disciplines.
