BLEND is compromised in producing content that challenges the status quo. We aim to become a leader of “innovation” on this new digital age by redefining old-media models while conserving the highest level of “journalistic” standards.

Responsibilities: INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Able to meet deadlines 
  • MUST BE enrolled in a university/ college 
  • MUST have a good work ethic & attitude 

WRITER REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Good writing skills & passionate about storytelling 
  • Experience writing for a news publication is necessary 
  • Eager to contribute and collaborate with a team to achieve the best possible results 
* Huge PLUS if you have SEO writing skills 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Write and submit one or two pieces per week following SEO guidelines 

P.S.: You need to be enrolled in college to qualify for the internship program. This is an academic internship for credit (if desired) ONLY.
Do not apply if you are a recent grad or if you are NOT enrolled in college. 
PS: Internship might lead to a JOB but it is NOT guaranteed. 

HOW DOES the INTERNSHIP WORK? 

We are based in NYC, but you do NOT need to be based here! This internship is digital. In fact, we are seeking a DIVERSE group of students from all over the country! We are FLEXIBLE . We work with your availability & schedule. Interns are expected to commit to BLEND about 5 hours per week. 

BLENDtw is more than an internship, we are a MOVEMENT! We are trying to tackle issues that affect our generation, so interns are the backbone of our publications. Interns are team-players. All interns have the opportunity of becoming a regular Live Contributor ! Are you ready to be challenged? 

  • Build professional portfolio 
  • Sharpen & learn new editorial skills. Receive a letter of recommendation + certificate (upon) completion of the internship.

Receive college credit (optional) - About 80% of our interns receive college credit for this internship.

BLEND hopes to create dozens of JOBS in the next few years AND INTERNS will be the first ones to be considered for full-time paid positions
