Event Planner Dine Downtown Internship

The Event Planner is responsible for planning and executing high quality private and community events at Formosa & The Iowa Chop House in Iowa City. We are looking to add a diversity of events to include: corporate events, social parties, wedding receptions, fundraisers, concerts, indoor/outdoor events, holiday events, and more. The Event Planner must be available to work nights and weekends on a regular basis. The work schedule fluctuates according to the events schedule. 

Ideal qualifications include: 

• Event planning experience

• Hard working & Flexible schedule

• Polished, professional presentation 

• Strong connection to the community 

• TREMENDOUS attention to detail

Work on marketing campaigns & ideas to drive traffic.

Compensation will be performance based- with a commission based structure.
