1 FTE beginning the 2019-2020 school year
JOB DUTIES:
Sauk Rapids-Rice High School is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to serve as a Social Worker who has abilities and interests in working with students in grades 9-12.

- Common mental health disorders in adolescents
- Child and Family Health
- Special Education disabilities/services
- Child protection concerns
- Juvenile Justice
- County Social Service Systems/Services
- Community mental health resources
- Support of alternative/opportunity youth
Competency in:
Children's social/emotional & mental health concerns affecting their educational success including, but not limited to:
- Family Systems
- Mental Health Diagnoses
- Child Abuse and Neglect
- Child Development
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide wrap around services for students needing intervention and school team support. These services include, but are not limited to:
- Participation on the student's academic and/or behavior team for purposes of consultation and planning
- Delivery of counseling services as needed
- Support group facilitation
- Teacher consultation as it pertains to intervention planning
- Parent consultation
- Direct service provision to students during the course of their school day
- Consultation with support staff
- Agency liaison for students needing alternative placements and/or transition services
Other School Responsibilities:
- Participation as member of student services department and MTTS/Data team
- Participation in the every-day operations and activities of Sauk Rapids-Rice High School
- Other duties as assigned and in accordance with licensure(s)
Extra-curricular positions, including head coaching positions, are also available in conjunction with this position and experience or interest in these positions is appreciated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requirements:
Graduation from a CSWE accredited social work university program with a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) and Minnesota Board of Social Work Licensure or equivalency.
Preferred qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
SALARY:
Based on the Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Association's Master Agreement as negotiated.
NOTE:
Candidates must pass a criminal background check in order to be eligible for employment.
