Tax Accountant

Selden Fox, Ltd., a mid-size public accounting firm located in Oak Brook serving privately held companies in a broad range of industries as well as nonprofit entities, has an opportunity available for an entry level Tax Accountant.

The individual we seek will be responsible for preparing business and personal tax returns as well as tax-related filings with governmental agencies, researching tax issues and communicating with clients regarding tax matters. Providing tax-consulting services to clients, corresponding with governmental agencies and performing special tax projects are also key duties.

All newly hired accounting professionals, whether assigned to perform audit, tax or general accounting functions, participate in a rotational program during their first year that involves hands-on experience in each of our audit, tax and accounting solution departments. This program is designed to enrich the individual’s professional experience and provide them with a more well-rounded understanding of all facet of accounting.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 0-2 years of tax or accounting experience.
