We study the stress response pathways and protein quality control mechanisms in development and longevity, and their dysregulation in diseases including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Our lab combines the power of unbiased genomics, functional genomics, and bioinformatics with detailed functional dissection using genetics, cell biology and biochemistry.

The successful applicant will use the nematode, C. elegans as a model to study the temporal-spatial regulation of stress response pathways and their functions in development, reproduction and longevity.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in a biological science, chemistry, physics or other relevant area, M.D., or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
A recent doctorate in Biological Sciences or related field with experience in Molecular Biology, Cell & Developmental Biology, and Genetics is required. Experience with C. elegans, and skills in genomics and bioinformatics are preferred.
