2019 Substance/Opioid Abuse Reduction Coordinator Mauston
Goal of the Project:
1. Collaborate with school districts and others to reduce youth access to unauthorized prescription or illegal drugs with a focus on opioids.
2. Conduct on-going “take correctly, store safely, dispose properly and never share” prescription drug campaigns
3. Create community awareness and mobilization to prevent and address opioid and other drugs use and misuse.
4. Assure that SAFE Coalition and their community partners are implementing best practices for opioid prevention and treatment
This project is a collaboration between the Wisconsin Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (WAFCC), and the Juneau County Health Department.
