Social Sales Internship

Forbes is looking for a Social Sales intern to join the Audience Development team in our Jersey City, NJ, office. The position, reporting into the Senior Manager, Social Sales, will work across the company with various stakeholders to assist in developing exciting branded content campaigns on social platforms. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing strategic recommendations for RFPs that require a social products
  • Brainstorm paid and organic distribution strategies around each platform
  • Assist in representing social sales in meetings and on calls with the sales reps and planners.
  • Develop Social Sales Newsletter for company-wide updates
  • Maintain Social Sales database and resources for Sales organization.
  • Explore creative and proactive ideas and opportunities based on high performing and industry updates.
  • Assist in the execution of sales programs with social editors including:
  • Help execute promised social posts at Forbes Events
  • Help manage campaign promotions to ensure they are distributed correctly and on time for partners
  • Help with design and video timelines and schedules for programs
  • Assist channel editors to ensure timely delivery of content programs
  • Develop social insights and opportunities for existing programs for sales reps to grow client programs
  • Interest in Branded Content and Brand Partnerships

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment, Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work/internship experience
  • Comfortable working in social media listening tools
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and new media
  • Diligent, detail-oriented, and able to take direction well
  • Enterprising and self-starting perspective
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
