Women's Health Physical Therapist

We are looking for a Full Time and Part Time Women’s Health Physical Therapist at Body Motion Physical Therapy.

We are seeking a Physical Therapist trained or willing to be trained in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation. We advocate for prenatal physical therapy as a standard of care in america and 4th Trimester Recovery, focusing on the postpartum restoration and physical therapy. We are a rapidly growing physical therapy clinic that helps Women Through Pregnancy And Beyond To Live Active, Healthy and Confident lives. Being a “private-pay” clinic allows us the opportunity to give a highly personalized, one-on-one, hands-on care that significantly improves the quality of care and the satisfaction of our clients that is not available in “traditional” settings.

The successful candidate will be achieving an 80% schedule utilization rate within 6 months and ultimately you will be helping the company achieve its MISSION of “Helping Women Through Pregnancy and Beyond To Live Active, Healthy and Confident Lives”

More: You will be helping us to grow this company from a single room start up – all the way to becoming the number one provider for prenatal and postpartum physical therapy care in the US.

To achieve the level of success that we are looking for, you will be required to:

A. Be involved in the creation of internal and external advocacy for pre and post natal physical therapy. This includes: blog posts, free tips reports, workshop events AND make yourself available for scheduling telephone appointments to talk to the people who request this marketing information you will be creating. You will be required to consult in person with prenatal clients and moms to listen to their stories and provide support regarding body changes and guide a plan that will lead them to the most optimal labor and delivery for them and or recovery after baby. There is opportunity to be involved in labor visits and home visits.

B. Be Responsible for limiting “drop-offs” – Patients who book appointments and then drop off schedule are not good for either parties involved. Because of that, you will be required to be proactive in making regular re-activation phone calls to the people who have dropped off.

C. Be Flexible in your working hours. Patients expect to be seen before and after work and while the kids are at school. We know that aches and pains don’t go away for our patients after 5pm. Because of that, and to be successful in this role, you will be required to make yourself available from 8am-8pm Monday-Friday.

D. Your 40 hours per week contracted hours will be scheduled during these hours (start and end times between these hours are negotiable!) and the salary of $68-80,000.00 will compensate you for making yourself available during these hours of standard business operation.

E. Contribute and attend a minimum of 3 hours per wk in clinic Continuing Education including giving a once per month presentation to the rest of the team and attend a minimum of 40 hours every two years of Continuing Education. Stippen available.

F. Drive referrals- within 3 months we expect that at least 5 WOM referrals are specifically asking to SEE YOU each month – and within 12 months we expect that at least 5 patients per month are returning and asking to see you.

G. Your patient visit average- the most successful therapist at this practice have an average patient visit of 8 to be successful in this role we expect that your evaluation, communication and ability to handle money/co-pay objections will allow you to achieve this target. Training will be proceed on this and within 6 months your PVA will be 8.

H. The mission of this company is to revolutionize health care for expecting women and women recovering from child bearing and child birth. Body Motion believes that if we can support women through pregnancy we can ease and enhance their recovery and that we can help decrease rates of c-section along with decrease the very high maternal mortality rate. We believe that once a mom, you are always a mom and we help moms across the lifespan.

a. We strive to help women make better decisions about their health and one of the things that we offer our prospective patients to help to do that is a free discovery visit.

I. You will be required to achieve a minimum 80% conversion ratio of prospect to paying patient.

J. We are looking for a candidate with a state license in physical therapy or someone who is capable of achieving license in Washington state.

Doctor of Physical Therapy
2 years previous experience a plus
Interest in women’s health
