Staffing Manager

Job Description


POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees HR staff in the field. Serves as a resource for management and employees to ensure that policies and procedures are clear, concise and applied fairly and consistently. Provides HR support. Assists staff with other HR issues ranging from Employee Relations and EEOC to workers' comp and Benefits. 

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Oversight of Operations of Staffing Dept. to include that of Staffing Coordinators, Recruiters, Admin. Asst., per diem employees and office functions such as phone que and staffing software systems

- Responsible for upholding policies and procedures for all staff to include counseling and Improvement Plans

- Implementation and rollouts of department programs to include new staffing systems, policies and procedures and staff structures

- Oversight and knowledge of all HR files and management of files by Admin Asst. to uphold all required credentialing standards.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1 A degree in HR or a related field is required.
2 At least 3-4 years of experience in HR is preferred.
3 Management experience is preferred

JOB SKILLS:
1. Must be able to communicate with a diverse range of people including managers, employees, visitors, outside consultants, outside counsel, and officers of the Company.
2. Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills.
3. Able to handle data and information of a very confidential nature.
