Communications Team Intern

Responsibilities: Communications interns will be responsible for writing and LTE’s. This will take collaboration with the field team to identify supporters in key areas willing to author LTEs in their local publications. One of the main tasks for interns assisting the communications team will be pitching earned media. They will also be tasked with generating a weekly student blog to be published on Marsy’s Law social media platforms.

Expectations: Communications interns will be expected to be familiar with Marsy’s Law bill language and talking points. They will also be expected to remain keen on any news update pertinent to the Marsy’s Law effort.
