Political Team Intern | Marsy's Law for All

Responsibilities: Interns assisting the political field team will be responsible for making recruitment and endorsement calls daily. They will help when planning events as well. This will include researching venues, making turnout calls, and staffing the event to help ensure all Marsy’s Law for Iowa events run smoothly. These interns will also be expected to table events we are vendors at.

Expectations: Political interns will be expected to have a firm grasp on all Marsy’s Law talking points and language of the bill. They will also be tasked with researching legislators in each district they visit before any event they attend. It is important that they are able to recognize lawmakers when visiting their district.
