Job Responsibilities:
- Understanding of the US Automotive market, competitive landscape and position of the Volkswagen Group
- Econometric analysis of market development over time, short, medium and long range forecast
- Segmentation in the market and development over time
- Analysis of competitive pricing/sales dynamics in the US market
- Customer profile analysis – owner, rejecter, defector and avoider analysis across all Group brands
- VW Target Customer analysis, support and development of target groups
- Support the local planning round (PR65) organization (workshop, data, vendor management, catering, invitations, etc.)
- Assistance in ongoing process workflows and upcoming research projects (including fieldwork and on-site support)
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in a University/college or Graduation date must be within the last six months
- Utilization of MS Office for analysis of various market dynamics and competitive phenomenon
- Ability to plan/organize, research, analyze, multitask and prioritize
- Skills in problem-solving, observation/listening and time management
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Considered an advantage: Experience with cross-tab tolls/analysis or SPSS experience
- Majors that may be a good fit: Business, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, Research Social Science
