Football Systems Developer

Summary: The Football Systems Developer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software applications for the Football Operations Departments. The ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as willingness to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Football Operations and key stakeholders to gather functional and system requirements.
  • Architect interoperable systems based on functional system requirements.
  • Design and implement flexible systems using C#, ASP.Net, and SQL Server that effectively deliver near instantaneous responses to user queries.
  • Integrate new software features as defined by Football Operations and other key stakeholders.
  • Design and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Write unit tests and participate in the testing process through bug fixes.
  • Fully document software designs and specifications.
  • Support end users when issues arise.
  • Architect and implement well thought out application frameworks.
  • Develop software prototypes to aid in delivering the best product possible.
  • Identify root causes in software issues and data inaccuracies and implement fixes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
·      Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field of study) or equivalent experience.
·      Experience in software architecture, development and implementation.
·      Proficient in C# and .NET Framework, including .NET Core.
·      Experience with JSON, HTML, XML, javascript and other web and mobile coding standards
·      Proficient in SQL Server 2016, including Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, database normalization.
·      Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
·      Able to meet aggressive project deadlines delivering relatively bug free software.
·      Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (requirements definition, design, development, testing, implementation, verification), Agile and industry best practices
·      Able to work nontraditional hours in nontraditional settings including holidays, evenings, and weekends. Must be flexible when scheduling work hours in order to better support end users.
·      Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
·      Able to establish a rapport with various individuals and build strong relationships with a variety of personalities.
·      Must have the ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment and prioritize projects while keep key constituents in the loop.
