Information Technology Student Worker
Be a crucial part of our team and get some real-world experience! CLAS Technology Services is hiring student workers who will assist with IT related projects as well as have ownership of their own special project. Routine work may include installing software, unboxing and imaging computers and devices, moving equipment, updating spreadsheets and other miscellaneous office work, and other duties as required. Special projects will be developed individually with each student worker, this could be a software application, website, hardware build, you name it. The only restriction is your own imagination. Student workers will have opportunities to work along-side IT professionals and project managers for hands-on training and coaching as well as presenting their own work at meetings.
Requirements:
- Windows and/or Mac OS
- General knowledge of Office applications (excel, word, web browsers)
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- 6 months previous work experience
- Must work be available 15-20 hours per week during business hours (8am-5pm, M-F)
- Positive can-do attitude that thrives in a respectful and inclusive environment
