Information Technology Fall 2019 Internship
IT interns will assist with various day-to-day operations as well as projects within the Museum. Interns should display proficiency in the following skills: Computer hardware experience (Memory, HDD, CPU, computer peripherals), ability to install and configure software, basic understanding of operating systems (Windows 7 and 10 and Mac OS).
Job responsibilities of a Perot Museum IT intern include: providing computer technical support for end users, installing, upgrading, and configuring software, reimaging computers with the proper OS and drivers, responding to computer issues daily via the ticketing systems, and assisting with maintain computer inventory. The Museum has a highly complex IT environment and is seeking an intern who is passionate about our mission. IT interns will gain hands-on experience in a Museum setting working directly with staff under management of the chief operating officer.
