Project coordinator

We’re looking for a new team member to collaborate with colleagues—and, in many cases, directly with our clients—to coordinate and manage the various components involved in completing creative projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has great organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

The project coordinator will perform various project management and client service tasks, which include:
  • Developing project schedules, organize job files, track and monitor progress and escalate issues; manage project timelines and competing deadlines
  • Managing feedback processes on creative projects by reviewing and consolidating client feedback and sharing with relevant team members
  • Learning and managing the editorial and content-development process for internal marketing and communications efforts and client projects
  • Leading project management for Leff’s communications and marketing efforts, including blog scheduling, social media posting, and newsletter coordination
  • Coordinating client calls, in-person meetings, and internal discussions on a given project; sending agendas and recaps with the direction of the project lead
  • Reviewing client deliverables for quality, consistency, and accuracy
  • Taking ownership of the tactical steps involved in completing a project 
  • Reviewing projects against the scope of work to ensure that Leff is delivering in full and that client requests are within the agreed-upon scope
  • Reviewing project invoices and ensures that all invoices are sent and received from vendors on schedule, coordinating with accounting team; create info sheets for accounting team that detail necessary information for billing (charge codes/PO numbers, contact names, addresses, etc.)

To be considered, candidates must have:

·        Two to three years of experience as a project manager or account coordinator in an agency or professional services environment, particularly dealing directly with clients
·        A strong sense of client service and a commitment to the success of client projects and relationships
·        A deep interest in the content production process for various formats and channels, including editorial, design, and video projects
·        A professional demeanor and general level of comfort being proactive and dealing with demanding projects in situations with a fair amount of ambiguity
·        Strong communication skills
·        Crazy attention to detail
·        The ability to meet deadlines
·        Curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for working in a start-up, team-oriented environment
