Quant Trading Intern (Summer) - 3Red Trading - New York City

Job Description

We are looking for Quant Trading Interns. This is a unique trading experience where you will be given a set of tools and challenged to come up with a successful trade nearly on your own. The expectation is that you would use some of 3Red’s basic tools to research and come up with an individual trade.

It’s a unique internship because you will be doing real trading that has real outcomes. No fluff; we want you to identify where there is edge, analyze the results of your trades and report on your weekly performance. This is our first summer structuring our internship this way. You’ll gain real experience as a trader. At the end of your internship, in addition to your weekly pay, you’ll keep 100% of your profits, while you were trading at 3Red.

What We’re Looking for from Our Candidates: • Python experience • Quantitative background • Intellectually curious • Interest in trading, focused and resilient/persistent • Self-motivated, competitive and ability to adapt with feedback It’s an exciting opportunity for those that want a true trading experience. Process Once we receive your resume we’ll review it within a few weeks. If you’re a fit, we’ll move forward with an initial phone screen. From there, you’ll receive a python test that takes about 2 hours. We’d have a technical phone screen afterwards.
