Job Description
You will be joining a fast-paced team and dive into code from day one. You’ll get to know all parts of the code base and be an important part in everything from brainstorming and wire-framing to implementing and maintaining.
On a daily basis you will be:
• Brainstorming and discussing new ideas
• Designing and implementing new features
• Writing tests, improving existing code and fixing the occasional bug
• Work with great people building great products!
You will primarily be working with Android development using Java and Kotlin. We have a broad tech stack and product eco system, so depending on your preferences you will also have the opportunity to work with iOS, web applications and a variety of APIs and micro services.
Some relevant buzzwords that you'll come across include Android, iOS, MS Graph, PHP, mySQL, vue.js, AWS, TeamCity, socketIO and Docker.
Required Skills
We hope that you are willing to roll up your sleeves and dig into a little bit of everything. Whether it’s developing new features, fixing bugs or tweaking the build process, you like getting things done. You’re pragmatic and just love creating things with code. You may or may not have worked in a small team before, however it’s something you feel excited about doing. We take great pride in working closely together and helping each other out, and you do too.
Although we believe that motivation and mindset will take you very far, it would be a bonus if you had experience working with one or more of the following areas:
• Java technologies such as Java 8, Spring Framework or Dagger
• The Android framework including Android NDK or Gradle
• Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft Graph, EWS, Office365/Exchange, Azure, Active Directory
• Software testing, GIT, Continuous Integration, API or micro service architecture
