For the Winter/Spring 2020 semester, multiple interns with an interest in Middle East affairs will be selected for the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at the US Department of Justice in Washington, DC. FREE Professional Seminars by ABPA experts and a Transportation Stipend will be provided to interns.

OIA returns fugitives to face justice, transfers sentenced persons to serve their sentences in their home countries and obtains essential evidence for criminal investigations and prosecution worldwide by working with domestic partners and foreign counterparts to facilitate the cooperation necessary to enforce the law, advance public safety, and achieve justice.

Eligibility:
  • You must be a U.S. Citizen to qualify for this position.
  • You must undergo a pre-employment security investigation.
  • You must be currently enrolled, and in good academic standing, in a full or part-time accredited degree/diploma program.
  • You must have spent less than 24 months (consecutive or non-consecutive) outside the United States in the last 5 years.
  • Familiarity with Arabic language is plus, but not required
