Technology Consultant Intern
Overview
We’re looking for team-oriented, problem solvers interested in developing software solutions. As an intern, you will work with other college students from universities across the US to build a mobile or web-based solution. Your summer internship will be located in Chicago, Dallas, or Houston.
Who We Look For:
- Strong analytical thinkers and problem solvers
- Some development experience (formal or informal)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to work in a team-based environment
- Desire to excel, grow and be a leader
- Bachelor Degree in MIS, Computer Science or comparable major
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 overall and in major course work
What You Will Do:
- Provide creative solutions to complex problems
- Interact directly with a Pariveda client
- Work in small teams
- Build in a variety of languages such as Java, C#, C/C++, and Mobile
- Constantly learn all roles in software (we develop, we test, we pm, we architect, we sell)
- Engage in all steps of the SDLC\Add value to local market and community
You Won’t:
- Answer support calls
- Maintain an internal system
- Augment staff
- Make copies all day
- Run errands for the management team
- Sit in your cubicle, bored
- Life-long specialist work
Summer Program Details:
Our Philanthropic Internship program offers you genuine real-world experience. You will work in teams to produce powerful applications for community organizations that otherwise could not afford them. Chicago, Dallas, and Houston offices will host our Philanthropic Internships which will start on June 1, 2020 and conclude on August 9, 2020.
