Director of Business Development (CTVS & Neuro)

Responsible for making sure business development accomplishes its growth goals and objectives. Participates in the development and implementation of business development strategy, business plans, program development including: pro forma, marketing, new service identification development and implementation. Collaborates with other organizational leaders to cultivate sources of referrals and identify new clinical service offerings, including physicians.
 
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for the overall management of strategic and operational business development and physician relationship activities, working closely with marketing and leadership.
  2. Provides market feedback to leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generates product/service development ideas.
  3. Drives increased revenue and profit to achieve growth objectives.
  4. Plans and coordinates the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets. Collaborates with other leaders to develop marketing campaigns for new products and service offerings.
  5. Collaborates and leads determination of need and cost benefit analyses for proposed new programs, equipment and service offerings
  6. Develops the business development annual budget. Ensures that it is tracked and adhered to.
  7. Develops and trains personnel within the department, and reviews and appraises their performance. Responsible for assuring competency of all staff.
  8. Ensures quality, financial, and donor relations objectives are met.
  9. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; comply with legal codes and regulations.
  10. Stays current on knowledge of technology and state and federal regulations.
  11. Performs other related duties as required and directed.
 
 

Qualifications

 Required:
  • Baccalaureate degree in business, marketing, health care administration or related field.
  • Five years of business-raising and development experience including three years in a leadership/clinical management role in a hospital or physician office/clinic.
  • Previous experience working with physicians and hospital executives in marketing or public/community relation’s environment as a strategic partner. 
Preferred: 
  • Masters degree in business administration or health care administration.
