Corporate Summary
The Project Development team acts as the conduit between Business Development, Engineering, Finance & Operations and is responsible for gathering information from multiple sources and driving the project development life-cycle from origination to completion for various properties and client types. Reporting to the VP of Project Development, the Analyst will act as the administrative support for the team and assist in preparing materials for internal and external stakeholders and submitting applications to utilities and incentive agencies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial passion for renewable energy development opportunities within the commercial sector and assist in the execution of Company projects. The ability to work independently and as a team member are critical, as well as the desire and innovative mind set to operate as an important contributor within a fast-pace, early stage company environment.

Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities
- Support the management of the development cycle through the various stages and processes
- Research federal and state photovoltaic (PV) incentive programs including ownership of the incentive application process & tracking
- Assist with the permitting process and expediting
- Prepare meeting agendas and reports for clients
- Develop and submit paperwork associated with incentive agencies and utilities
- Identify and lead the support of key project deadlines and milestones
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates must meet the basic qualifications and pass all required tests or assessments to receive consideration. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-1 years’ experience with a developer, utility company, regulatory agency or project finance firm specializing in power/energy/utilities
- Proven ability to quickly and accurately solve problems and come up with value added solutions
- Track-record of working on teams to support energy, infrastructure or real estate projects
- Outstanding organizational and people skills
- Understanding of engineering and renewable energy systems
- Understanding of project and structured finance
- Attention to detail
