Title: Digital Marketing Assistant
 
Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager
 
Overview: Fast-paced, marketing role with primary duties that include a wide variety of assisting in the completion and optimizations of online projects including search engine optimization, social media and assisting the Ecommerce team ensuring the websites are best in class. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Search Engine Marketing (SEM)-
  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager in writing pay-per-click (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO) ad copy variations for ongoing testing and best practices.
  • Pull weekly and monthly reporting for programs/campaigns utilizing Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and other analytical tools to pull KPIs such as traffic, revenue, conversions, cost, return on ad spend, etc..
  • Monitor competitors and conduct ongoing keyword research for both PPC and SEO programs.
  • Assist in implementation of SEO best practices based on Google releases, current trends and recommendations from consultants.
  • Work with Digital Marketing Manager to monitor Amazon Sponsored Ads program and provide weekly reports.
 
Social-
  • Moderate user generated content through user generated content tool. Ask for permission from all approved submissions.
  • Support seasonal product launches on Pinterest by creating new boards and pinning all new product. Weekly pinning of external content to help build brand presence.
  • Assist with developing and writing engaging, attention-grabbing external social content that connects with our target audiences (studio owners/teachers and dancers/dance moms).
  • Monitor competitors and social boards; collect data with Social Specialist to share cross-functionally.   
 
Weekly Reporting-
  • Update weekly and monthly reports for Ecommerce team and SEM campaigns to track KPIs and flag trend changes to Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Track weekly metrics for Amazon to monitor sales, costs and ROI.
 
Skills / Requirements:
  • This is a fast-paced position that requires a strong, task-oriented, positive can-do attitude marketer who is organized with the ability to be flexible with last minute changes.
·        Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Marketing, Communications or related area.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization, communication (written/verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately while working toward multiple deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
