Temporary HR Assistant

Are you looking for that first, delicious taste of HR experience? Look no further! We here at Fun.com have the perfect opportunity for you! We’ll get you so much experience between the day you’re hired and the end of October that you won’t even know what do to with it all!
You think we’re joking about a concentrated HR experience? Believe us; we would never joke about such things. You’ll get massive recruiting experience as we work to hire over 2,000 temporary employees for HalloweenCostumes.com, Shirts.com and Fun.com. Not even joking about that number. We did the math so you don’t have to. You will learn how to conduct pre-employment background screening, process new hire paperwork, conduct orientation and building tours, create schedules for hundreds of people and so much more!
Gathering up a small army of employees requires a lot of planning and attention to detail and it takes a great personality to get all those employees to trust and respect a person. These are key qualities to have because our HR Assistants will have to make some difficult decisions, deal with any employee relations issues that come up among our seasonal staff and make sure that the operation continues to run smoothly. We would like to think that you, yes you, the person reading this, has those qualities.
That being said, you’re still going to be the person in charge of enforcing certain rules while still allowing a few shenanigans. We are Fun.com, after all.
There are several openings for this position, both part time and full time hours can be accommodated based on candidate availability. These positions start around the beginning of July and prospective employees will be brought in throughout August and the first week of September. Some evening and weekend hours may be required depending on other candidates’ availability.

This temporary position will be from hire date to November 2019.
