Mobile Development Intern | Mediate

We are Mediate, an MIT-spinoff startup developing computer vision technologies for the visually impaired and the blind. We have released our beta product and have visually impaired and blind users from all around the world, who depend on our mobile application to be more independent.

We are fully funded by the National Science Foundation and Department of Veteran Affairs.

We are looking for an intern with previous mobile development experience who can assist us while developing and improving new mobile apps for the blind and the visually impaired. The intern can work remotely or in our office in Boston. The candidate will need to work 10-40 hrs/week depending on the intern's availability. It will be a great opportunity to learn how to implement AI and AR technologies on mobile phones, participate in development of actively used apps, and experience a small software startup.

An ideal candidate will:

- be highly organized, reliable, and self-driven

- has previous experience with iOS or Android development

- is interested in AI or AR for mobile

- is interested in creating social impact
