Integrated Pest Management Technician
Pinelands Nursery is looking to add to our team! For this job we are looking for someone who:
- Is self motivated and proactive.
- Wants to work for a family business
- Has experience in the Nursery/Landscape industry.
- Has experience with pest management.
- New Jersey Private Pesticide Applicators License preferred.
- Has the ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
- Will operate machinery such as tractors, ATVs, and excavators.
- Is willing to assist in other parts of the nursery as needed.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Scouting the nursery for pests, diseases, and other plant problems.
- Treating nursery stock to both prevent and treat diseases in a timely fashion.
- Record applications and file annual reports to the NJ Department of Environmental Protection
- Operating tractors, ATVs, or golf carts.
- Assisting with plant production
- Assisting with general nursery maintenance and improvements.
