Supply Chain Analyst

Our client has an immediate need for two (2) Supply Chain Analysts for two different plants in eastern Kansas area. These are contract to hire or direct hire roles depending on experience. You will be responsible for sourcing and procurement of all relevant vendor materials to support the operation and/or business. Duties will include purchase raw materials, goods, services and finished products or business services based on the specifications and production requirements, prepare requisition orders to replenish stock, equipment, tools, and or services; and the arrangement of delivery, monitor inventory levels as raw materials, equipment, tools, and stock issued, distributed, transferred within or outside the organization and/or disposed. Other duties will include compiling of inventory reports detailing the quantity, type and value of materials, equipment and other stock on hand and prepare, maintain, and report to management on: progress of work, materials used, rates of production and other information.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase raw materials, goods, services and finished products or business services based on the specifications and production requirements
  • Assess the requirements of the organization and to develop specifications for the items or services required
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish stock, equipment, tools, and or services; and the arrange delivery
  • Monitor inventory levels as raw materials, equipment, tools, and stock issued, distributed, transferred within or outside the organization and/or disposed
  • Compile inventory reports detailing the quantity, type and value of materials, equipment and other stock on hand
  • Prepare, maintain, and report to management on: progress of work, materials used, rates of production and other information

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent along with practical hands on experience as a purchaser, inventory clerk, or junior buyer
  • 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing facility in a Supply Chain role capacity
  • Must have experience with a computer MRP system for managing materials receipt and distribution, preferably SAP but will accept other system experience
  • Experience operating in an AS9100 or ISO9000 quality management system
  • Knowledge of program management, materials management, contracting, scheduling and manufacturing is highly recommended
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. International Traffic in Arms Regulation/Export Administration Regulations (ITAR/EAR) clearance is required
