Internship - Technology Management

Jetzy is looking for an energetic, curious, and driven Technology Management Intern. The Technology Management Intern will be responsible for managing the Technology departments, including project management, coders, technology intern, and business analysts. Role includes, leading teams in assigned projects, assigning team members to new and existing projects, conducting performance appraisals in conjunction with Human Resources, internalizing and articulating the needs of customers, supporting the app development and assisting with ongoing technology work, and will be involved in working with the business stakeholders to understand the requirements for the software system. The Technology Management Intern will serve as a medium between the users, engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand the user's demands and requirements and communicate these effectively to Engineering team to help improve the app. The intern will not only assist in solving technical development choices but also in making design decisions about features. This is an incredible opportunity to be on the ground with a startup from the inception of the product and gain the in-depth entrepreneurial skill set. 

Applicants should have the ability to research and understand technical documentation, and an understanding of how to apply various technical resources. Applicants should have the ability to perform tasks such as operating systems and application software installations and upgrades. Also, gathering and organizing data for use in supporting decision-making processes is essential. Leadership skills are a must. Finally, the intern will follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. This position contributes to the company's success by fine-tuning the detailed specifications of the app and ensuring the best quality and technical functionality for our users. 
 

Responsibilities

-Leading the technology and product development teams, including coders, business analysts, technology,
-Serve as a point person on all product and technology-related issues and be responsible for manual and automated App testing 
-Assist with ongoing technology work and researching best systems and solutions to supplement the technology platform 
-Identify and communicate any errors or improvements in the app development 
-Liaise with the technology team to build creatives tailored for business partners 
-Manage the product enhancement and new feature development process from concept to launch and beyond
-Building and maintaining the roadmap for all new product and feature development and ensuring all development connects to business goals and customer feedback
-To create and sustain a Product Specification Document consisting of Product features, designs and items, and guidelines on the app
-Gathering and analyzing customer data to improve app functionality
-Researching similar products to understand the competitive landscape and new trends in the market, about app development and user preferences
-Setting the product strategy, prioritizing features, building consensus, and coordinating product schedules with design and engineering teammates.
-Maintain a log of all product related, and technology points raised during meetings and follow up on those points with engineers 
-Be responsible for manual and automated App testing 
-Coordinate with the marketing team to increase the user engagement and promotions
-Driving the product’s vision for Jetzy across iOS and Android
-Identifying methods and metrics for determining success and failures while ensuring the team is clear on their objectives

Requirements
-Pursuing a Master’s or MBA, preferred
-Excellent leadership skills and ability to communicate well with the others 
-Organizational, research and time management skills 
-Experience in App development and proficiency in UX, UI is essential
-Understanding IT function, candidates with experience or knowledge of app development in
ASP.NET and SQL server is preferred 
-Able to meet tough deadlines 
-Superior problem-solving skills – must be resourceful and creative with solutions 
-Attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
