Multimedia Journalist

Launch your television career at Eau Claire, Wisconsin’s award-winning ABC affiliate, WQOW TV18. We have an immediate opening for a talented, energetic multimedia journalist. This is a full-time position.

We’re looking for someone who loves hard news and who will fight for the lead story every day. We have all the tools you need: brand-new field cameras, tripods and wireless mics; laptop editing; new studio set and new graphics.

What we need: your fresh, original story ideas, your clear, concise writing, and your videography and editing skills. In exchange, we’ll give you daily opportunities to go live, a platform for in-depth, long-form stories and a supportive, collaborative newsroom as well as continuous training to grow your craft.

A degree in journalism or a related field is preferred, along with on-air television experience. Experience with AVID iNews and Media Composer is a bonus. A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.
