Sports Reporter/Writer Intern
This role will require onsite coverage of sports and entertainment events in the local area where member resides. Deadlines will need to be kept, and content properly uploaded to company platform onsite at events. You will be expected to work with teams varying from the NCAA, NFL, MLB, MLS, NASCAR and Indy Car. Credentials will be provided for onsite coverage through SkyBoat program. Mentorship and media guidance will be provided.

The job typically involves:
- reading press releases
- researching articles
- establishing and maintaining contacts
- interviewing sources
- writing, editing, and submitting copy
- attending events
- proofreading
- verifying statements and facts
- staying up to date with privacy, contempt and defamation law
- liaising with editors, sub-editors, designers and photographers.
- generating social media content coverage of events
