Chicago Account Executive

Account Executive – Chicago


The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing the day-to-day account activities with guidance from management. This role is responsible for creating and implementing Out-of-Home media recommendations. Heavy emphasis on account and client services, with opportunities to incorporate unique creative executions, production and non-traditional media.
Ideal candidates are proactive strategic thinkers, detail-oriented and creative minds! Excellent communications skills (both written and oral) are a must.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and communicate all planning documentation in accordance with planning process, policies and procedures
  • Prepare and issue Media Authorizations
  • Input and communicate all buying documentation in accordance with the buying process, policies and procedures
  • Implement approved media plans
  • Conduct vendor negotiations
  • Resolve vendor discrepancies
  • Compile data for and prepare case studies
  • Maintain healthy peer-to-peer client relations
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Identify and track client issues
  • Prepare all client documents
  • Provide weekly status and participate in status meetings

Relevant Industry Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration or communication
·       1 -3 years’ experience with media planning in an advertising organization
  •  Keen understanding of media integration and analytics
·       Fluency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
·       Well-developed interpersonal skills, maturity, credibility, proactiveness, confidence and integrity.
·       Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·       Collaborative, with strong focus on teamwork.
