Koubek Center Manager

Miami Dade College, one of the largest and most diverse institution of higher education in the nation is accepting applications for the position of Koubek Center Manager.

The Manager of the Koubek Center provides leadership and operational oversight of the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Directs, plans, implements, supervises and evaluates Koubek Center’s administrative services including but not limited to facilities, security, parking, custodial, facility rental services, special event services, etc.  
  • Participates in budget preparation, development and implementation of Koubek Center’s fiscal goals
  • Hires, supervises, schedules, and evaluates event personnel, contractors and volunteers ensuring that excellent customer service is provided
  • Both independently and in collaboration with Cultural Affairs programs, the Koubek’s manager schedules and prioritizes artistic programs and events throughout the year to include but not limited to, literary programs, musical concerts, dance groups, theater plays, etc.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience coordinating or managing project(s), programming, and organizing cultural events; or Master’s degree and two (2) years of experience coordinating or managing project(s), programming, and organizing cultural events
