Los Angeles Marketing & Events Intern Fall 2019

Do you have creative marketing techniques and a lot of positive energy? Modern Luxury Los Angeles is searching for enthusiastic marketing interns to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. In addition, you will have administrative duties in developing and implementing processes as well as marketing strategies.

As a marketing intern, you will work with our marketing team in all stages of marketing. Your contribution will help Modern Luxury develop, broaden and maintain our marketing channels (social media, experiential, etc.).

Our internship program aims to help you strengthen your marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various strategies within the luxury market. Ultimately, you will build a wealth of knowledge in marketing and should be prepared to enter an extremely fast paced work environment. 

  • Assist with events:
  • Assist with coordinating vendors, deliverables, insurance, contracts, etc.
  • Coordinate timelines, marketing collateral, and client sponsorship elements in conjunction with events
  • Assist with recap decks after events
  • Assist with social media accounts for all of Modern Luxury Los Angeles’s platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) for all five publications including:
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences to design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Help day-to-day office operations
  • Mailing - both incoming and outgoing (across the United States)
  • Utilize organizational skills to maintain current issues as well as retention of past issues
