Marketing Director – Data and Analytics

We are looking for an experienced, creative and high energy marketer with demonstrable success in building and accelerating pipeline through enterprise sales teams using effective traditional demand generation and Account Based Marketing (ABM) techniques. 
 
Reporting to the Global SVP of Regional and Channel Marketing, this role will be instrumental in growing market awareness and sales pipeline for our data prep, data science and real-time visualization software solutions by developing, executing, and measuring demand generation programs. 
 
This person will lead and manage Altair’s demand generation and funnel optimization efforts across multiple marketing channels and act as a key liaison to sales, field and partner marketing. Thinking about SEO, paid search, display, content syndication, inbound marketing, events, and beyond, you’ll be responsible for making sure we’re leveraging the right marketing mix to drive revenue growth. You’ll work very closely with both the marketing and sales teams to ensure high-value leads progress through the sales funnel.
 
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drives lead generation for sales pipeline
• Manage and monitor global pipeline to ensure consistent delivery of Marketing Qualified Leads
• Lead marketing team in all facets of marketing; including demand generation, website, PR, analytics, events, SEM etc
• Collaborate with Product/Solutions marketing teams to implement messaging and leverage content assets
• Define and implement marketing strategy, including audience definition and target personas, segmentation, and go-to-market planning
• Work collaboratively with company leadership to ensure product and company positioning and messaging are aligned with greater strategy
• Drive quarterly and annual planning processes to develop marketing plans with key objectives and KPIs that support company objectives
• Create, monitor, and present marketing analytics that measure team performance against sales and corporate goals
• Integrate Competitive and Market Intelligence analysis into marketing strategy
• Partner with Sales to deliver leads, sales collateral and enablement tools
• Maintain demand generation budgets and optimize ROI across all channels
• Oversee our marketing automation platform and associated tools, including integration with Salesforce
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
• 8-10 years of demonstrated success in owning, leading and managing demand generation programs in B2B organizations at the enterprise level
• Experience working with Salesforce.com and Pardot, HubSpot or other marketing automation tools
• Experience implementing Account Based Marketing (ABM) programs
• Expertise in retargeting, email marketing, PPC, SEO and landing page optimization, and website analytics
• Expertise in direct marketing tactics, including email, webinars, sponsorships, trade shows, mobile and use of third-party data sources
• Proven team player that has partnered with marketing and sales leadership
• Exceptional communication and copywriting capabilities
• Ability to demonstrate prior work - creative, results-driven campaigns in particular
• Experience successfully mentoring and managing a team
• Proven ability to roll up your sleeves, execute tactically, and contribute to day-to-day tasks
• Strong project management, planning and budgeting skills
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strategic thinker with the ability to manage market positioning and messaging
• Ability to partner with sales team to optimize customer buying journey
