iOS Developer to Verisure, Sweden

This position is posted on behalf of our partner, Verisure, in Malmö, Sweden. The candidate will have a mentor on site and the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce will assist in finding housing, insurance and other important matters.

Job Description

We are looking for our next iOS Developer to join our organization. Over the past year, we have been rebuilding our consumer applications and launching new experiences on both desktop and mobile app. Expect to collaborate closely with product, design and backend teams to build new features, drive technical direction, and build scalable apps targeting hundreds of thousands of daily users. The mobile app is a central part of Verisure’s customer offer and is continuously growing with new functionality. The team works with hybrid applications using iOS combined with frontend development in mainly JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.




Required Skills

You have a technical degree or equivalent experience with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of computer science. We would like you to have some experience in iOS, Xcode, Objective-C (our main language) and preferably Swift, as well as version handling (Git). You are familiar with Apple processes, iOS best practices, common design patterns, and object-oriented design.
