Job Overview
Tech Systems Set Up:
Put the right tools and technical infrastructure in place to help our team work efficiently, and easily manage our day-to-day data, documentation, and collaboration needs.
Technical Specification Development:
Get started on an important technical project by translating our organizational needs into a technical requirements document that can be used by an IT professional or software engineer.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Implementation of Tech Systems Review, or equivalent technology systems plan
- You have a technology project, such as an update to our website or database, on our to-do list, and you need help writing the document that will accurately communicate our needs to a qualified tech professional
- You want to understand the scope of work for a technology project so that you can get an accurate time and/or cost
Qualifications
- Skills & Experience in information technology and writing
- Experience setting up technology infrastructure from scratch
- Understanding of full lifecycle of IT projects including connection, development, and support
- Experience writing technical specifications based on business needs
- Experience working with software engineers and/or database administrators (e.g., experience as a business analyst or product manager)
