Artisan Cheese Maker/Trainee

Valley Shepherd creamery is New jersey's only sheep milk focused creamery producing over 40 products from sheep, goat and cow milk.
With products sold at many major food stores such as Whole Foods, Wegmans and Kings, Valley Shepherd is expanding.
The creamery is seeking a food centric graduate with a passion for artisan made foods.
We've had food science, bioengineers and agri engineers folks at this before but its all about the passion for handmade products.
The position will entail cheese making, affinage, yogurt making, new product development and exposure to the entire range of creamery operations.

candidate should be;
-Passionate about artisan cheese. 
-Have certain mechanical ability to deal with cheese-making equipment.
-Be able to lift a 40Lb wheel.
-Agriculture, food science or related degree.
-Ready to move to NJ.
Pay will be hourly to start changing to salary. Housing available On-site.
